Cultural Management Services assists organisations across a range of sectors in the delivery of arts and cultural projects. Led by Cathie McKimm, a former local government Arts Manager with extensive work experience in the voluntary and community sectors, the consultancy provides specialist management and development support.

CMS recognises that private sector management models and processes are often inadequate to deal with the complex challenges that arts and cultural organizations face.  The consultancy draws on the knowledge, skills and expertise of those who have themselves worked in the cultural sector and who understand the constraints of balancing limited, often public resources, against objectives that are aesthetic, social and sometimes political and personal in nature.
